Technically more of an RTS in the vain of Age of Empires but I was happy to have good base building and plenty of battles to go with it. The AI isn't the smartest around though and if you wall your self completely off they basically just leave you alone. Stonehearth - The game is technically abandoned but was "finished" before they left.You can also get this and all the other Annos with Uplay+ to try it out. It does however have very in-depth production chains and your cities will grow pretty large as you go and span multiple islands. My only complaint with Anno is I really want RTS ground combat and all it offers are boats which feels like it takes away from any actual strategy.
